Position:



Agile Project Manager



We are looking for an

Agile Project Manager

responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering IT initiatives using Agile methodologies. The role involves close collaboration with Product Owners, Family Product Owners, and stakeholders to define project scope, manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and budgets, and ensure the successful delivery of business outcomes. Responsibilities include overseeing contract deliverables, preparing and supporting status reporting and communications, proactively managing issues and change, and leading post-implementation reviews, while ensuring alignment with Agile, SDLC, and DevOps practices in a remote delivery environment.

Roles and Responsibilities



Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with Product Owner, Family Product Owner, and stakeholders.

Plan, schedule and track project timelines, deliverables and milestones using appropriate tools. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

Effectively communicate delivery expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.

Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.

Support contract management activities such as development of scope content and contract documentation

Oversee the adherence to contract outcomes

Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team including 3rd party vendors.

Proactively manage changes in project delivery, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Qualifications and Skills



Top Skills Required



Minimum 5 years' experience as an Agile Project Manager in the field of IT

Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile principles, DevOps and the Scrum and Kanban Frameworks

Knowledge of Azure DevOps and planning applications such as Microsoft Project and Planview/AgilePlace

Other Skills Required:



Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce or Business Administration, or equivalent experience

Demonstrated experience at managing risks

Demonstrated experience at managing projects (timeline, scope, budget)

PM-related certification (e.g. PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, DASSM)

Assets:



Experience in financial/insurance industry, products and services

Bilingual in both official languages (English and French)

Experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner
