Are you a results-driven Agile Delivery Manager with a strong background in managing large-scale application development projects within the banking or financial services industry? This role offers the opportunity to lead multiple Agile teams, drive delivery excellence, and ensure smooth execution across complex, high-value initiatives within a dynamic banking environment.
Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Agile Delivery Manager - Banking who will oversee multiple Agile projects and pods, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of software solutions. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of Agile principles, SDLC processes, and stakeholder management, with a proven ability to balance governance, planning, and execution in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple Agile projects or pods, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology strategy.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of application development initiatives, focusing on release management, sprint planning, and execution.
• Maintain strong delivery discipline and governance while fostering Agile best practices across teams.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology partners to manage priorities, dependencies, and risks.
• Track budgets and manage delivery portfolios valued between $3M-$5M or higher.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across business and technical teams to ensure collaboration and transparency.
• Navigate complex delivery challenges and remain composed under pressure while guiding teams toward successful outcomes.

Desired Skill Set:

• Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Manager leading software development/SDLC projects (not infrastructure).
• Strong background in Financial Institutions (FI) or the banking sector - FI experience is mandatory.
• Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, delivery processes, and governance best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple Agile teams or pods simultaneously.
• Exceptional delivery, planning, and release management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and drive collaboration.
• Calm and composed under pressure; skilled in conflict resolution and problem-solving.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience managing Agile delivery at the enterprise or portfolio level.
• Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, or similar).
• Prior experience in financial application modernization or digital transformation projects.
