Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo and emergency air transportation services to Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for more than 45 years. Owned collectively by the Inuit of Nunavik through the Makivvik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of more than 30 aircraft and employs over 1,000 people in one of the world's most demanding flying environments.

POSITION OVERVIEW


The main task of the reservation agent is to make and modify passenger reservations. He is often the first direct link with the passenger; his work takes place mainly over the phone.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Take reservations and process payments. Modify itineraries. Confirm flights with passengers. Inform customers on company policies. Perform administrative duties related to the reservations department. Establish a link of confidence with the customer and find the best solutions possible to give a first-class service. Assist Air Inuit stations.

QUALIFICATIONS



Be bilingual (French/English), Inuktitut would be a complementary asset. Be motivated. Capability of establishing a positive contact with customers. Be familiar with Windows, Outlook, Internet and the knowledge of the Hitit reservation system would be an asset. Team spirit. Airline experience will be considered as asset. Be familiar with the served territory. Be available to work on shifts Monday to Sunday.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS



Weekend coverage on rotation 7.5 hour shift

COMPENSATION




The remuneration package and associated benefits will be in accordance with corporate policies.


Starting hourly wage - $21.83
