Tasks

Assign seats to passengers using computer reservation systems Check passenger baggage to determine those which are oversized and overweight to ensure travel standards are met Prepare boarding passes for passengers Calculate load weights for aircraft compartments Plan load for aircraft Pre-flight documentation Relay messages to operations control and downline stations Process bills of lading, cargo manifests or other documents Trace missing baggage and/or cargo shipments Assist clients/guests with special needs Attend boarding gates and assist pre-boarding passengers Make, cancel and change flight reservations Prepare and issue tickets and receipts Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments Provide customer service Reserve seats for general public, travel agencies and tour companies Work with minimal supervision
