As a claims agent, you help process life and health insurance claims, promote occupational health and manage disabilities. You perform administrative and follow-up tasks to support your unit's day-to-day operations and help it meet operational objectives and carry out initiatives in accordance with the detailed directives in place. The ability to drive results is therefore essential. You help process information and solve simple, everyday issues, tailoring your approach as needed. You respond to administrative and operational questions. More specifically, you will be required to:
Help carry out the unit's operational and administrative processes.
Communicate with practitioners to obtain and verify information.
Carry out administrative tasks, including data collection, entry, modification, compilation and coding.
Provide information about your line of business's processes and procedures
Conduct research to obtain additional information related to your unit's activities.
