What you'll do:


The

Ag Solutions Sales Partner

provides agronomic support, service, and knowledge to customers. In consultation with the Sales and Operations Manager, responsible to provide moderately complex support and knowledge of agronomic products to local co-op customers. Perform moderately complex farm customer service responsibilities, including field scouting, agronomic troubleshooting, crop planning, fertility and crop protection recommendations. Communicate and maintain strong relationships with customers. The Ag Solutions Sales Partner will be the customers trusted advisor for their operations around Riverbend's products and services including but not limited to Crop Protection, Agronomy and Fertilizer. Potential for role to develop and expand into other Ag commodities as assigned by the VP Ag Solutions.


Successful candidates will have agriculture sales and agronomy experience or a desire to exceed in the agriculture industry. You will also enjoy working with Farm Clients in many areas of their operation. Customer service skills and the ability to develop working relationships as part of a team are essential. Candidates must:


Have agriculture sales and agronomy experience, with strong customer service and communication skills. Provide agronomic advice and support on seed, fertility, pest management, crop protection, and nutrient planning. Deliver on-farm services including scouting, troubleshooting, crop planning, and application of digital agriculture technologies. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through in-person visits, phone, and digital/CRM tools. Collaborate with the Sales & Operations Manager on inventory management, product blending, and safe delivery of fertilizer, seed, and chemicals. Achieve sales, margin, and inventory targets, while expanding sales to new customers. Organize and participate in grower engagement activities (plot tours, Lunch & Learns, field days). Ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork including invoices, claims, and crop forecasts. Uphold compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational procedures. Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license and be open to day travel in the assigned territory.
As a member of our Ag Solutions Team of agri-business professionals, the successful candidate must be dedicated to outstanding customer service, be well organized, have a proven track record in agronomy sales / services and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a highly motivated team. The ideal candidate will hold an Ag Degree or Diploma and be willing to obtain the CCA designation or equivalent. Candidates with a relevant combination of education and agricultural experience along with a proven track record in relationship building and sales may be considered.


This is a hybrid job opportunity and the successful candidate must live within a 125 km radius of Tullis, Saskatchewan.
