Your Responsibilities

This role is a part of John Deere's early development program designed to incorporate equipment, John Deere systems & processes and marketing knowledge through small project assignments to develop the incumbent. The incumbent will also earn sales and marketing processes, factory product support, distribution, and related teams. This role provides a foundation of knowledge about our business, and prepares the individual for future progressive roles in the Company. Individuals can expect to remain in this role from 12 to 18 months (although this time frame may vary). Subsequent roles could be located in various locations across Canada, and as such, the incumbent should be prepared to relocate for future positions.

What Skills You Need

  • 1 to 3 years of agricultural industry experience in any field
  • Understanding of farming trends associated with agriculture in Canada
  • Demonstrated team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and/or tasks
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%
  • Ability to relocate for this position, as well as future opportunities
  • Valid driver's license

Education

Ideally, you will have a Bachelor's university degree or equivalent college education with related work experience in
  • Agriculture, Business, Marketing or a related field
