Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Afternoon Feed Mill Operator to join our team in Thorndale, Ontario. This role involves operating and maintaining feed mill equipment to ensure the efficient production of high-quality animal feed. The ideal candidate will have experience operating equipment, and knowledge of animal feed manufacturing. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting; focused on agriculture, and the health and well-being of livestock.
Responsibilities
Operate feed mill equipment (pelletizer, mixer, grinder & baggers) Follow feed formulations and production schedules Load and unload ingredients and finished products Maintain a clean and safe work environment Work with team members to meet daily production goals
Skills
Manufacturing, feed mill, or agricultural experience an asset Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and work on your feet Strong attention to detail and reliability Forklift experience an asset (training available) Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
This position is vital for maintaining smooth operations within our feed mill facility. Candidates should be committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
