Plans, organizes and implements weekly programs for children aged 4-12
Assists in program related administrative duties (attendance, calendar, menu etc.)
Assists with program specific special events and fundraising initiatives
Escorts children to and/or from school (Centre)
Supervises volunteers and/or placement students while in program
Ensures safety and well-being of the program participants at all times
Attends staff meetings, trainings as required
Communicates and provides support to participants' parents/caregivers
Ensures that all incidents/accidents are reported and required documentation forwarded immediately to the supervisor
Participates in and supports agency-wide special events and fundraising initiatives
Ensures an approach that displays a positive attitude, sensitivity and understanding towards people of all abilities, backgrounds and orientation
Carries out other duties as assigned
Must be available to work 3:00pm-6:00pm
