Job Description

Candidate must be 19 years and older.

We are looking for an energetic & passionate, educator to join our team. This position would be working with children 5 years old to 12 years old mostly. 20 hours, with possibility or more to cover sick leave/vacations. Care and well being of the children would be the main priority. Secondary duties include paperwork and light housekeeping. Must be able to obtain all qualifications listed below prior to the start of employment.

Hours are flexible, hours listed below are the general hours but willing to work around schedules for the right candidate (university student, EA, etc)

Start Date: Flexible

Start date: As soon as possible

Wage $16.83 - $27.33 (depending on Education)

Shifts: Typical shift Monday to Friday 1:30pm - 5:30pm. Full Day for PD Days/snow days

Shifts are scheduled anytime between 6:45am and 5:30pm, Maximum 9 hour shifts. Monday - Friday only. No evenings or weekends.

MUST have or be able to obtain prior to employment:

- Criminal Record Check & Venerable Sector Check

- SD Record check (would be done on interview)

- Current Workplace Standard first aid and CPR

Other qualifications that are preferred:

- Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree

- NB Curriculum Framework Certificate

- Food Handling Certificated - Inclusion Training - Experience
