Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and personable
Aesthetic Nurse (RN or RPN)
to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong clinical foundation, a keen aesthetic eye, and a genuine passion for skincare, anti-aging, and patient education. You will work under the direction of our Medical Director and collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality injectable and medical aesthetic treatments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform aesthetic nursing procedures in accordance with clinic protocols and medical directives, which may include:
Neuromodulator injections (e.g., Botox, Dysport)
Dermal fillers
PRP/PRF for face and/or hair
IV vitamin therapy (if applicable)
Other advanced treatments as trained and delegated
Conduct comprehensive consultations, including:
Medical history review
Assessment of skin and facial anatomy
Collaborative treatment planning based on patient goals and safety
Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care, skincare routines, and realistic expectations.
Maintain accurate, timely charting and documentation in accordance with CNO and clinic standards.
Uphold strict infection control, safety, and privacy standards.
Assist with treatment room set-up, inventory, stock rotation, and product ordering as needed.
Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and occasional clinic events or open houses.
Promote clinic services and retail products in a professional, ethical, and patient-centred manner.
Qualifications
Current
Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
license in good standing with the
College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
.
Minimum 5 years of aesthetic injecting nursing experience (medical aesthetics, dermatology, or plastic surgery experience is a strong asset).
Previous experience with cosmetic injectables (neuromodulators and/or dermal fillers) preferred; willing to train the right candidate with strong clinical skills and aesthetic interest.
Current CPR certification.
Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain).
Strong understanding of facial anatomy and aesthetic proportions, or a demonstrated interest in learning.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
High level of attention to detail, clinical judgement, and commitment to patient safety.
Flexible availability (evenings may be required).
