Job Description
Nu Build Contracting Inc. is a full turnkey fiber, copper and network infrastructure contractor for major communication and utility companies. Nu Build Contracting is engaged on projects across Ontario involving directional drilling, trenching, aerial work, fiber splicing, internal piping, MDU wiring, hydro vac excavation, cabling maintenance and construction and replacement of underground wiring. Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate vehicle-mounted aerial devices equipment Perform aerial telecom construction Placement of poles and anchors Placement of strand Lashing Cable Transferring telecom plant from old pole to new pole Climbing of poles with spurs or ladder Completing construction as per design laid out on plans Placement of underground cable in duct Completion of daily job specific paper work Organization of work operations to ensure safety of yourself and people and pedestaling around work area
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience in aerial line construction Min Valid DZ Driver's License (with a clean abstract) Up to date Working at Heights training Minimum 2 years' experience working with aerial devices Strong work ethic

10 hour shift
Experience:
Aerial telecommunication: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Ontario DZ Driver's License (preferred)
Work Location: In person
