We are looking for a skilled and experienced Aerial Fire Fighting Pilots to join our team at Buffalo Airways Limited. Position Overview:

As an Aerial Fire Fighting Pilot, you will be responsible for flying fixed-wing aircraft to fight wildfires. You will be required to fly in low altitudes, at high speeds, and through rugged terrain to effectively drop water or fire retardants on active fires. This is a physically and mentally demanding position that requires excellent flying skills, decision-making abilities, and a passion for protecting the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate an aircraft in a safe and effective manner to fight wildfires Follow prescribed tactics and procedures for aerial firefighting operations Coordinate with ground crews and other aircraft to ensure efficient fire suppression efforts Monitor weather conditions and communicate any changes or potential hazards to the team Maintain and update all required documents and reports accurately Conduct daily inspections and pre-flight checks on the aircraft Ensure compliance with all safety and aviation regulations

Requirements:

Minimum is different on different aircraft types of total flight time Minimum is different on different aircraft types of pilot-in-command time in fixed-wing aircraft Commercial Pilot License with instrument rating ATPL or IATRA Experience in aerial firefighting, forestry, or other relevant fields is preferred Excellent flying skills and ability to make quick decisions in high-stress situations Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and safety procedures Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with ground crews and other pilots Flexibility to work long hours and in various weather conditions Physically fit and able to endure the demands of the job Float endorsement would be advantageous Current Medical Drivers License and Current Passport
