Job Description

The AEP Platform Expert supports the implementation and evolution of the AEP solution within the organization, demonstrating agility and creativity. They are responsible for managing the platform's inbound and outbound flows to empower internal teams in their efforts to implement omnichannel marketing initiatives. They contribute their expertise to defining solutions and are responsible for all technical aspects related to their delivery, adhering to the highest technical, marketing, and governance standards in the industry.

Your future duties and responsibilities




Data Governance in AEP

Participates in identifying target methods for ingesting new data sources Participates in developing data strategies for data ingestion, storage, processing, and activation (Profile & Data Lifecycle) Ensures the compliance of the RT, NRT, and batch pipeline design and proposes recommendations jointly with the development teams Ensures the platform's compliance with the National Bank of Canada's security standards and data privacy regulations Advises data producers on best practices for sending data via the connectors available in AEP Responsible for file structure Responsible for AEP connectors Responsible for informing internal teams about the limitations of the AEP platform and their evolution Prepares the data reception structure in AEP Dataflow (Connections, Schemas, Mapping, Dataset, Authentication, Encoding, Encryption) Documents processes


AEP Platform Governance

Supports the architect in developing the Adobe Experience platform architecture to meet the organization's business needs and requirements Participates in the implementation of AEP components, including configuring data schemas and setting up data pipelines Collaborates with marketing, IT, and business teams to ensure the platform meets their needs and aligns with the bank's overall strategy Participates in integrating AEP with other marketing, advertising, and CRM systems (SFMC, advertising platforms, Azure, AWS, etc.) Participates in data lifecycle management and ensuring governed data accessibility Manages schemas Responsible for maintaining data schemas according to evolving business needs Ensures compliance with governance rules at the appropriate level Data Sensitivity (Label Management) Supports investigations from the platform using database tools to ensure continuous data quality Responsible for testing new data ingestions Tests data quality from a technical perspective Develops automated processes for data ingestion and validation Automates tests on the platform Tests the end-to-end of AEP data flows Ensures data validation with the information production teams Monitors and optimizes platform performance and compatibility with National Bank of Canada tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, AWS, etc.) Responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest AEP platform developments and best practices Shares test results with the Marketing, IT, and Product Owner teams Proposes optimizations related to the bank's future needs

Required qualifications to be successful in this role



Expertise (2 to 3 years of experience with Adobe Experience Platform Real-Time CDP and other AEP suite products (RTCDP, CJA, AJO, Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target).


Bilingual in French and English
Knowledge of SQL, Python, REST API, and Git Knowledge of Big Data/Cloud/Open Data/Data Clean Room concepts Kafka, AWS, ETL, Azure Experience in data architecture Experience in data modeling Experience in data governance

The ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, is essential, as this position involves regular collaboration with colleagues and partners based in the United States.
