Position - AEM Developer

Location: Montreal

Employment type: Fulltime

Responsibility:

RESPONSIBILITIES Translate business requirements into technical designs Design and develop reusable components templates and workflows for the AEM platform based on detailed user stories Ensure implementation of user stories meet acceptance criteria Ensure quality code deliver to QA group Contribute design and architecture ideas Guide squad pod through technical designs Develop best practices Participate in code reviews Lead design discussions Provide high level T shirt size estimates for planning purposes Provide detailed estimates for prioritized projects Backup Scrum Master when necessary SKILLS REQUIRED 5 years' experience developing and deploying secure Java web applications Extensive experience with Linux Web and Servlet Engines JRE Experience with Tomcat and Apache Minimum 2 years recent experience designing and architecting complex applications Experience with Adobe Experience Manager AEM v6 x Proficient in AEM technology stack OSGi HTL Sling CRX etc Developed sites page templates components workflows experience fragments content fragments Managed content model permissions administrative functions Content Management design and implementation experience including taxonomy metadata workflow and content lifecycle management Solid understanding of the AEM development and deployment process Experience with client side development Experience with HTML JavaScript CSS XSLT Experience in MVC frameworks Ability to build competent web pages Strong understanding of SDLC Experience with source code management automated build environment promotion Good working knowledge of Git and Maven Good understanding of Agile concepts like SCRUM Experience working in Agile Squads Pods Experience in Scrum Experience working with team members across multiple locations Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
