As a Senior Analyst, Enterprise Resilience, you will support the development, maintenance, testing and improvement of CPP Investments' Business Continuity Plans, Tools, and Processes to support the organization's ability to respond to disruptive events across the risk spectrum. This job also encompasses all activities that support Crisis Management (CM), Business Continuity (BC), Technology Disaster Recovery (DR) events. Key functions include the planning and development of global Business Impact Analyses, Business Continuity Plans, tools, and controls as well as maintenance and support for the global corporate insurance program.
Team Description
The Enterprise Resilience team is dedicated to ensuring the overall resilience of the organization through proactive crisis management and incident coordination. We work collaboratively to design, implement, and continuously improve strategies that safeguard our operations and stakeholders during crisis events. We emphasize the importance of collaborating across the organization with a positive attitude to foster a unified and effective response.
Accountabilities:
  • Lead Business Continuity Planning: Partner with business units across the organization to conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), design recovery strategies, and build comprehensive Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) for critical functions.
  • Champion a Risk-Based Approach: Develop and refine continuity practices that proactively address emerging risks across our global footprint, ensuring readiness for disruption in any geography.
  • Modernize and Innovate: Identify and implement forward-thinking solutions to evolve our business continuity tools and frameworks, embedding resilience across people, processes, and technology.
  • Enable Operational Preparedness: Support and help execute simulation exercises, tests, and response drills, ensuring systems and teams are prepared and equipped.
  • Drive Insight Through Data: Develop clear, actionable metrics and reporting frameworks to evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve our resilience strategy.
  • Build Organizational Capability: Design and deliver enterprise-wide training programs to equip staff with the knowledge and tools to contribute effectively to business continuity and crisis response efforts.
  • Crisis Support: Be a critical contributor during incidents, supporting the Enterprise Resilience team in real-time response and coordination.
  • Corporate Insurance Administration: Assist with all aspects of the corporate insurance program, including policy application preparation, renewals, and global coverage.
  • Internal Risk Consulting: Provide insurance and risk management consulting services to a wide range of internal clients, from investment teams to corporate functions.
  • Data-Driven Risk Insights: Support insurance and risk functions through data gathering, exposure analysis, and claims trend reporting to drive proactive decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma in related field
  • Professional designation or certification; CBCP or MBCI industry certification or equivalent is preferred. Professional designation or certification in IT disaster recovery (e.g., CDRP, BCLE) IT governance (e.g., CGEIT) or cyber resilience is valued.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong operational risk background
  • Experience in guiding and assisting business functional leaders in developing and documenting business recovery strategies with an eye for unique global needs.
  • Technology experience with a focus on systems recovery and change management processes.
  • Advanced MS Office and Tableau skills
  • Working knowledge of data analysis methodologies and tools
