About Red Chris

Our Red Chris Mine, located in the heart of Northern British Columbia on the traditional territory of the Tahltan Nation. A short distance from Iskut and Dease Lake, Our fly-in, fly-out site offers access from various points across British Columbia and Alberta. Purpose



We are hiring for two Advisor, Emergency Response positions. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to the safety and preparedness of our operations--executing emergency plans, conducting drills, and ensuring critical readiness in high-risk situations. The expected salary range for each position is CA$83,400-$111,000 per year, with an additional short-term incentive target.



Essential Duties



In this role, the individual will:



Execute emergency response frameworks/plans. Administer regular emergency drills. Support team members on emergency protocols. Monitor readiness of emergency equipment. Assess compliance with emergency standards. Liaise with local emergency services. Assess incidents and provide solutions. Administer emergency documentation. Support safety reviews and audits. Deliver emergency response reports.

Prerequisites for your success in this role



Basic Mine Rescue Certification (Canada) Familiarity with NFPA 1001, 1801, Hazmat Ops (preferred) ICS 300 certification is an asset Strong knowledge of BC HSRC, WorkSafeBC, and NFPA guidelines Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint and Project Effective team collaboration, situational awareness, and communication skills

Working Conditions



This site-based role, on a 15x13 rotation, embedded within the Safety& Sustainability team. You'll work in dynamic, sometimes high-pressure situations, ensuring safety standards are upheld and emergency responses are swift and effective.
