The Health Information/Records Management (HI/RM) Domain is supported by Enterprise Information Management and provides an exciting opportunity to mature a provincial approach for managing the AHS Legal Record of Care, with a particular focus on Connect Care, scanning, auditing & remediation, and deficiency management.Description:The Advisor works with the Senior Advisor - HI/RM Domain Lead and has the following responsibilities: Act as an advisory resource on business requirements, processes, and governance related to scanning and document management. Act as an advisory resource for ingestion of historical data from retired applications and integration of active clinical information systems within Connect Care. Actively participate in project meetings and initiatives, supporting HIM as Business Owner of the scanning solution. Provide support in development and implementation of lifecycle management (retention) workflows within Connect Care. Collaborate with project team, business users, technical groups, training teams, and vendors. Lead, facilitate, and support provincial teams, working groups, and committee meetings relating to scanning and enterprise content management. Issue identification, resolution, and tracking.

Required Qualifications:A university degree in a health discipline, health informatics, information management, computer science, business analysis or closely related field. A minimum of 5 years' experience in health information / records management. Commitment to innovation in service delivery, continuous process improvement and provincial standardization. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Technical familiarity with Clinical Information Systems and Enterprise Content Service Solutions.
Additional Required Qualifications:The successful candidate will have established skills in the following areas: Leading others through collaborative problem-solving involving multiple and diverse stakeholders and interest groups. Service delivery and continuous process improvement. Ability to facilitate change, coach, and mentor others. Organizing and analyzing data and information to support strategic priorities and set goals. Business analysis. Verbal and written communication skills. Presenting complex information to others in a meaningful way. Defining information management governance, standards, policies and procedures and leading business and/or Information Technology transformational initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:Active certification with the Canadian Health Information Management Association. Strong working knowledge of Connect Care (Epic) and Quanum ECS. Project planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with provincial, national, and international standards. Demonstrated understanding of scanning workflows and Connect Care interfaces.
