Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Admissions Advisor to join our team. This role is key in connecting with prospective students and guiding them through the admissions process, ensuring a positive experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about helping students achieve their academic and career goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Must have previous experience in admissions at a Canadian post Secondary institute
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of educational programs and career pathways.
Familiarity with CRM systems and other admissions software is a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Outreach and Engagement: Connect with prospective students via phone calls, emails, and text
messages to provide information about our educational programs and increase enrollment.
Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, offering detailed
information about our programs, admissions process, and career opportunities.
Admissions Interviews: Conduct interviews with prospective students to assess their suitability
for our programs and provide personalized guidance on program requirements and career paths.
Application Assistance: Assist students with the application process, including reviewing
applications and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student inquiries, applications, and admissions
decisions in our database.
Collaborative Support: Work closely with other departments to facilitate a smooth
transition for admitted students and address any concerns that may arise.
Recruitment Events: Represent the institution at recruitment events such as college
fairs and open houses, promoting our programs and engaging with potential students.
Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and changes in educational policies to provide up-to-date information and advice to prospective students.
