:



Create marina staff schedules including Adventure Hosts, Dock Hands and Captains. Optimize tour schedule and ensure correct assignments of boat fleet. Collaborate with marketing and hotel departments to increase sales for in house guests through Whistle, Tourism Tofino and in person sales through our affiliate program. Create specialty group bookings such as media tours and wholesale. Communicate with guests pre and post booking. Oversee the guest experience of Tuff Fit gym by prompting maintenance action, fielding guest feedback, and managing memberships and payments. Updating and maintaining the backend of various operational related softwares such as marina booking platform, flight and tour booking platform, and fuel management system. Purchase and receive operating supplies and retail items. Oversee the training of adventure hosts and dock hands with supervisor(s). Maintain member charge accounts. Assist moorage and tour guests as needed. Assist with adventure tour operations and Harbour Air flights as needed. Promptly and professionally address guest complaints and feedback. Daily reconciliation of the fuel stock. Complete month-end standard operating procedures. Oversee onsite fish processing drop-off location operations. Ensure daily adventure host tasks are complete, including reports and physical upkeep; cleanliness and stock. Advise Marine Division Manager of any known issues related to facility, guest, staff or equipment. Assist in implementation and maintenance of systems. Create and execute SOPs. Oversee the picnic lunch program by reviewing orders, contacting guests, communicating directly with our lunch partner and end of month reconciliation. Work on dock and or adventure desk as required.

Job Requirements/Qualifications :



Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required. Background in marine or eco-tourism environments. Excellent sales and customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized and reliable with strong attention to detail. Ability to problem solve independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel). Experience with Marina Controller, WebRez, FareHarbor, and GymMaster softwares an asset. Retail and inventory management experience an asset. Knowledge of Clayoquot Sound an asset. Valid marine certifications such as ROC-M, SVOP, and MED A3 an asset. Passion for the ocean and enthusiasm for working with the public required.

Pay: $52,000.00-$56,000.00 per year
