The following teaching need is required for in-class delivery (no remote or hybrid options) at the Commerce Court Campus:

AMD100 - Computer Programming

3 hours/week

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Minimum two (2) years of experience working in Advanced Manufacturing Experience creating interactive and practical learning experiences Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in mechanical design such as Python (for scripting, automation, and numerical analysis) Understanding of mechanical design processes in industries such as automotive, aerospace, or robotics Ability to design hands-on, project-based learning modules tailored to various skill levels Understanding of machine learning, optimization, and data visualization for engineering problems Knowledgeable in coding for 3D printing and design optimization techniques Highly effective communication and organizational skills Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting Demonstrated knowledge and experience in learning management systems (Brightspace or Moodle) and educational technologies is an asset Experience with curriculum development and assessment design in a post-secondary context is an asset

Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver and evaluate effective learning related to the course Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities
