The following teaching need is required for in-class delivery (no remote or hybrid options) at the Commerce Court Campus:

AMD120 - CNC Programming

4 hours/week

Qualifications:



Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering Minimum two (2) years of experience working in Advanced Manufacturing Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming Experience with manual programming and post-processing for CNC machines Advanced expertise in industry-standard CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM, CATIA, or Siemens NX Hands-on experience with CNC machine setup, calibration, and operation (e.g., mills, lathes, routers) Understanding of machine coordinate systems, offsets, and tooling requirements Understanding material properties, machinability, and cutting parameters for metals, plastics, and composites Experience creating interactive and practical learning experiences Highly effective communication and organizational skills Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting Demonstrated knowledge and experience in learning management systems (Brightspace or Moodle) and educational technologies is an asset Experience with curriculum development and assessment design in a post-secondary context is an asset

Responsibilities:



Plan, deliver and evaluate effective learning related to the course Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities
