About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Health Services Manager of the Emergency Department, the Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) practices autonomously and collaboratively to ensure the delivery of safe, competent, compassionate, and ethical care to Nova Scotians, across their life span, as they seek emergency services. The ACP is a valuable member of the Interprofessional (IP) Healthcare team within the Emergency Department. The ACP practices within the ACP Scope of Practice and conduct as defined by the professional registration body, College of Paramedics of Nova Scotia. The ACP accepts responsibility for maintaining and continually enhancing competencies through ongoing professional development, including participation in education programs, research and continuous quality activities.
