The Investment Management Program Evaluation Analyst provides oversight to multiple asset investment programs, including: expense funding program, property tax program, and the tax software transition program. This role executes asset investment processes, directing and supporting various governance frameworks and business planning activities related to the Asset Management Branch and co-ordinating and leading various branch stakeholder engagement activities. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education/Experience

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent. Preference may be given to applicants with post-secondary training in project management, finance, business, or construction administration.
  • 1-3 experience applying project and contract management practices.
  • 3-5 years experience planning, coordinating and implementing program activities, analyzing and solving issues to ensure timely decisions.
  • 3-5 years experience applying the strategies and practices pertaining to the planning, design, construction and renovation of buildings.
  • 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in provincial taxation with knowledge of the strategies and practices pertaining to taxation and appeals.
  • Experience interpreting and applying legislation, regulations and policy in complex situations.
Preference may be given to candidates with the following experience:
  • Knowledge of the principles of property appeals and assessments.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, coordinating work and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating and relating effectively with externally contracted services, association representatives, other government agencies (local and provincial) and the public.
  • Advance MS Excel experience (includes exporting and importing data, working with various complex charts and tables, working with pivot tables and pivot charts, working with macros).
