Qualifications:
Post-Secondary Certificate in Office Administration or Business Administration or a combination of experience, training and education may be considered;
Minimum 2 years of office experience;
Strong computer skills with considerable experience with MS Office, data entry and a working knowledge of email;
Excellent communication skills;
Excellent customer service skills;
Excellent organizational skills;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Successful candidate must provide University or College Transcripts to Human Resources prior to commencement.

Admissions Support
Northern Lakes College is a multi-campus community college serving the needs of adult learners in north central Alberta. The college supports and promotes professional development and wellness opportunities. The Admissions Office invites applications for a team player who can work independently with minimal supervision, enjoys working with the public and can complete projects within specified deadlines.
Overall Purpose
The Admissions Support reports to the Registrar Admission Services, Slave Lake Campus and is responsible for providing front line service & information to clients as well as assistance to Admissions in processing of applications for admission to the College. This position is part of the Admissions Office where applications for admission to College programs are processed and information on programs is provided to the public.
Primary Areas of Responsibility:
Primary duties include: providing shared switchboard & front-line service and performing routine data entry, responding to general inquiries about College programs and services, sending out information in response to inquiries, organizing application information, preparing and sending out routine letters/documentation as directed, making follow-up phone calls regarding requirements. The position provides routine assistance to Admissions and provides day-to-day administrative support services to clients and staff within Student Services department.
Required:
