University degree. Preference will be given to applicants with direct experience in relation to the position assignment or experience in a Registrar\'s Office setting.
Applicants who do not possess a degree will be considered if degree is in progress and they possess a minimum of two years of relevant work experience working directly with credit programs, admissions and/or registrations.
Organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently as well as a team member
An equivalent combination of education, experience, and knowledge acceptable by the College may also be considered. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the College goals, programs, and services
Knowledge of Student Information Systems (preferably Power Campus) would be an asset
Considerable knowledge of the Alberta High School system, as well as entrance requirements to programs at Alberta post-secondary institutions.
Previous experience working in a student services related role in a post-secondary institution

Keyano College is currently seeking highly motivated and results-driven individuals to fillAdmissions Representative (Term) Position. Consistent with College policy and the objectives and priorities of the Office of the Registrar, these positions are responsible for providing accurate and timely admission decisions to all applicants to the College credit programs. Reporting to the Assistant Registrar - Admissions & Advising, the Admissions Representative is responsible for the following:
Admissions Processing:
Evaluate applications, identify required documentation, and make decisions on admissions status
Collaborate with Assistant Registrar and Student Advisors regarding enrollment management
Enter data and process steps of application into Student Information System (Power Campus)
Run reports from Power Campus to review outstanding applications and develop action plans accordingly
Maintain up to date knowledge on all program offerings, including intake dates, deadlines, admission requirements, program structure, and capacity
Transcript Data Entry & Evaluation:
Receive and document all incoming transcripts daily
Evaluate inter-provincial and international transcripts, determining Alberta equivalencies and assess whether applicants meet the educational requirements for admission
Enter all high school grades and/or equivalencies into the Student Information System
These are term positions ending on or before October 2025. Advertised Salary CUPE IS-5 $5,038.34 per month and includes a comprehensive health and benefit package. Residents of Fort McMurray qualify for the Northern Living Allowance of $1,040.00 per month. This allowance is reviewed annually and is subject to budget approval.
