Working collaboratively with the Associate Director of Admissions, the Admissions officer, works to achieve the recruitment/enrolment goals for local and international students. This is achieved through:
Implementing a targeted, strategic recruitment plan
Developing and maintaining effective and collaborative relationships with international and local agents
Providing information, personalized tours and application support to prospective boarding and day families
Knowledge of HubSpot preferred or other CRM system knowledge required
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support for international travel including booking flights, hotels, land transportation, and education fair/agent registration, set agent meetings, school visits, and one-on-one meetings with prospective students and their families.
Promotes in-person and virtual visits prior to international/local recruitment events, maintains ongoing tracking of inquiries, applicants and follows up with agents.
Actively recruit students through Open Houses and consistent follow-up throughout the application process, specifically through email, phone calls, and campus visits and virtual meetings.
Develop rapport with prospective families by providing prompt and professional advice.
Assist students as they prepare to attend BH through application, deposit and tuition payment.
Responding to inquiries from perspective families via HubSpot, email, phone and walk-ins.
Maintain and update HubSpot CRM and Blackbaud.
Provide daily front desk coverage during lunchtime.
Qualifications:
Multilingual an asset with superior interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively within diverse cultural settings.
Able to excel in a fast paced, high pressure and team-oriented work environment. Flexibility in personal schedule to enable varied office hours to manage international communications and participate in evening and weekend events.
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to utilize work time to maximum effectiveness.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues (including student and parent volunteers) in enrolment management, academics, student life, and across campus.
Proficient in PC, Apple and web-based environments with a high level of proficiency in M/S Office word processing, spreadsheets, and Blackbaud database.
Adept in data collection, analysis and reporting for assigned area.
Able to represent and speak articulately about all aspects of Balmoral Hall School to agents and prospective students and parents.
