The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Admission Advisor to join our team. This role is the crucial link between our prospective students and their future success. You will be a brand ambassador, a consultant, and a closer, responsible for driving enrollment across our diverse portfolio of programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Outreach: Actively generate new leads through strategic social media marketing, community engagement, and targeted outreach.
Consultative Advising: Conduct in-depth needs assessments with prospective students and parents to understand their goals and recommend the ideal pathway, whether at Thornhill High School or Gateway College.
Full-Cycle Sales Management: Own the entire admissions funnel--from initial contact and follow-up through to application completion, enrollment, and achieving conversion targets.
Market & Competitor Analysis: Maintain a sharp understanding of the local education market and competitor activities to effectively position our unique value propositions.
Relationship Building: Build and nurture long-term, trust-based relationships with families and adult learners, ensuring a seamless and positive admissions experience.
Who You Are:
A university student, graduate, or professional with a background in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
A proven "hunter" with experience in sales, customer service, or recruitment; a track record of meeting or exceeding targets is highly valued.
An exceptional communicator and presenter, with the ability to connect with both teenage students and adult learners.
Deeply familiar with the Thornhill community and the local educational landscape.
Tech-savvy and proficient with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, WeChat) for professional outreach and branding.
Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
