Job Description

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Criminal Division Manager, the Administrator will possess excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong team-oriented mindset. Key responsibilities include preparing client files, managing accounts receivable, negotiating client payments and resolving discrepancies, and managing various administrative functions to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:



Ensure confidentiality of all corporate and client information Answer incoming calls Perform data entry tasks Correspond professionally with courts, agents, clients, and colleagues Create and maintain client files Invoice clients Monitor and manage accounts receivable Assist in processing payments and updating customer records Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on past-due accounts Negotiate payment arrangements and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances Resolve customer billing issues and discrepancies Document all collection activities and customer interactions accurately in the system Collaborate with accounting department to resolve account issues Generate and submit regular reports on collection status to management Verify agent invoices Request necessary documentation from the courts Prepare legal documents Archive completed files Perform general administrative duties as needed

Qualifications & Skills:



High school diploma or equivalent (required)*
2 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or related field Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Highly organized with keen attention to detail Skilled at effectively prioritizing tasks Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality Understanding of the POA/HTA and Criminal Code of Canada

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
