We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as an
Administrator
. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent attention to detail, and is willing to take on a wide variety of tasks.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Assisting with accounts receivable process, including preparing and processing sales invoices in a timely manner
Assisting with accounts payable process, including issuing purchase orders and processing vendor invoices in a timely manner
Various administrative tasks such as invoicing, entering and coding payables, filing, billing, and doing payroll (oversee role)
Reviewing vendor account statements to ensure a good standing status
Telephone inquiries
Perform other related duties as required
Key Competencies:
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines, while proving accurate information on a timely basis
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently, while contributing to the overall team success
Ability to develop, recommend, and implement new accounting business processes and internal controls
Ability to understand business operations and provide business improvement ideas throughout the organization
Ability to anticipate problems and proactively resolve situations before they become larger scale issues
Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgement, and use discretion in dealing with confidential information
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related role
Great Plains (Microsoft GP) experience is an asset
Basic knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning software is considered an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
