Description
Participate in the administrative tasks of the Volunteer Experience team, including:Interviewing support
Assist in the receipt and management of volunteer applications
Collect submitted applications on various platforms
Evaluate candidates' applications and related documents ( resumes, letters of recommendation, etc.) to ensure candidates meet the minimum requirements for volunteering for the organization and position
Review applications received and assess candidates eligibility for open roles as provided by Volunteer Experience Business Partner (VEBP)
Follow up with candidates to complete applications and respond to inquiries, escalating to VEBP as needed
Provide support in the early stages of the volunteer selection process by scheduling initial screening interviews
Facilitate reference checks for candidates
Respond to general requests sent to shared email accounts
Participate in screening and interviewing of candidates (including but not limited to performing screening interviews, assessing candidates and reporting results in a timely manner
Advise and/or guide candidates through the onboarding process
Perform data entry and maintenance tasks
Contribute to ongoing information gathering projects as required
