Your Opportunity:
The Administrative Support V is a key contributor to the daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy Department at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, providing high-level administrative support in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment. This role requires flexibility, independence, and strong organizational skills to manage a variety of responsibilities, including employee scheduling using Workforce Management (WFM), payroll data entry and preparation for approval, coordination with Human Resources on staffing processes, and scheduling and registering patients for pulmonary diagnostic testing through Connect Care. Additional duties include organizing departmental meetings, maintaining confidential records, and performing a range of clerical tasks essential to the smooth functioning of the department. Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous experience with complex timekeeping, payroll, and scheduling using Workforce Management (WFM) is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. A certificate in Office or Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a 24/7, unionized healthcare environment is preferred. Familiarity with ESP (WFM) and Connect Care Ambulatory scheduling and registration is an asset.
