Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager of Medical First Response (MFR) and Public Access to Defibrillation (PAD), this position provides support to the MFR and PAD programs. The job will primarily be focused on the coordination of online database registries, including customer service to both current and prospective participants (members of the public), technical user support, and ad hoc problem-solving. The position is a key resource in identifying opportunities to improve the innovative technologies applied by the program and will be a liaison between vendors, users, and industry experts. The position is also responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to the program and leadership teams as needed. Work location is negotiable within Alberta.

As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration). Additional Required Qualifications:

Candidates must have strong to exceptional technical skills including demonstrated experience using relational databases, online publishing tools, Microsoft Office programs and other content management systems. The position requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills to deal with the many external stakeholders who routinely interface with the program. The candidate must have at least 1-3 years of experience providing customer service to members of the public and at least 1-5 years of experience administrating database systems. Preferred Qualifications:

A diploma in the field of database administration is preferred. Education and experience in relevant fields may be considered.
