Your Opportunity:Reporting to the Healthcare Manager at the Red Deer Remand Center, the incumbent will require a high degree of critical thinking, organizational and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary team to support the program. They will require advanced or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex projects, procedures, practices, or initiatives within the department. This position is responsible for supporting and organizing several related activities to ensure the goals and objectives of the team are accomplished. The incumbent will be required to provide a high standard of interpersonal communication and must demonstrate confidentially, flexibility, and initiative. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Required Qualifications:Some post-secondary education. Additional Required Qualifications:Advanced calendar management skills. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with multiple interruptions. Ability to maintain a professional attitude while exercising judgement, tact, diplomacy, and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential issues. Ability to use multi-modal technology to support meetings etc. Comprehensive Microsoft office skills required, including Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and Excel, including the ability to prepare spreadsheets, organizational charts, flowcharts, and formatting techniques in the preparation of reports, presentations. and meeting minutes/agendas. Working knowledge of AHS systems and process including familiarity with policies, financial practices, human resource activities and information systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially strong engagement, and networking skills. Ability to work in high pressure / high demand situations. High degree of professionalism in dealing with urgent requests, sensitive information, and conflict situations. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members from other areas of expertise across the province and beyond Alberta Health Services (AHS). Ability to recommend and implement changes to procedures or practices performed. Ability to produce high quality of work in accordance with departmental standards. Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and respond to changing needs in a team environment with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Insite, FSIS, ORCA, SharePoint, e-People Time Entry, Recruitment Management System, Oracle System, Markview and ESP is an asset.
