If you enjoy working independently in a fast-paced environment providing clerical services and support to a diverse team of professionals at a contact centre, this position may be of interest to you. This position is responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and operational support along with other activities associated with the Health Link contact centre. Functions include, but are not limited to: timekeeping, scheduling and schedule maintenance, information management (including data integrity and quality control), compilation of all communications to clients and the general public (including error correction and check for quality and accuracy), report generation, word processing, data entry, records management, meeting minutes, supporting managers in booking meetings, Performance Conversations etc., maintaining supplies and distribution and maintaining communication channels with internal and external agencies, partners and stakeholders, The Operations Support Staff works closely with other admin. and contact centre staff to coordinate, track and complete routine and special project work. The Operations Support Staff must be highly organized, able to work independently, and are cross trained in support functions as required. Strong knowledge of Excel and Outlook are required. Other duties include general support services such as filing, photo copying, provincial reporting, and database management, etc. Your solid knowledge of Alberta Health Services systems, computer systems, and computer applications will enable you to meet tight timelines.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education. Additional Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, supplemented by a post-secondary Secretarial or Administrative Support certificate and at least 2 - 3 years working in an office setting within the last 5 years, with progressively responsible experience delivering support to managers. Your strong organizational skills and ability to problem solve will allow you to manage multiple competing priorities in a timely manner. The successful candidate must have a minimum typing speed 40 WPM. Possess strong interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills. Have a strong knowledge of office policies and procedures. Ability to work independently with confidence, efficiency, and accuracy under pressure. Well-developed organizational skills. Ability to recognize potential errors and provide solutions; troubleshooting skills required. Dedicated to quality improvement. Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting. Strong knowledge of computer systems and applications. Fast and accurate data entry skills with attention to detail required. Ability to deal with varied and diverse issues/groups/individuals. Preferred Qualifications:

Contact centre experience is an asset. Knowledge of ESP is an asset. Strong knowledge of Excel is an asset.
