As the Administrative Support IV - Booking Clerk for the Operating Room, you will be responsible for coordinating accurate scheduling of specialty clinics, Physician clinics and non-invasive diagnostic testing for outpatients. You will need to communicate with Physicians, Administrative Assistants, and clinical staff to ensure that patients are seen in a timely manner and to contact patients to arrange and/or reschedule their appointments. As the Booking Clerk you will organize, administer and authorize the release of the daily patient surgery schedule for the Operating Room, as well as audit reports and data from multiple sources daily. You will update and provide wait list review to surgeons and their administrative staff and interact with other departments. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Fort McMurray Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $12,480. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields. Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience with Meditech and Microsoft Applications. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ACATS.
