Your Opportunity:The Adult Community Services Northgate clinic provides a wide range of addiction and mental health treatment to the residents of the City of Edmonton and surrounding suburban areas. The ACS program adheres to the Edmonton Zone Addiction & Mental Health Principles of Care providing quality, client focused, recovery based, concurrent capable, culturally appropriate care to those seeking supports/services within Addictions and Mental Health. Services are offered to clients and their families in the least intrusive and most appropriate manner, and include assessment, individual and group treatment, and consultation. As an Admin support IV, you will be required to provide a warm and inviting first point of contact with clients both in person and on the phone. You will serve as a conduit between the client and service providers including Psychiatrists, Mental Health Therapists, Mental Health Clinicians, Addiction counsellors, Clinical Supervisors and Managers. At times, clients may present upset and are seeking support. As a first point of contact, providing a warm reception and finding the correct service provider to provide care is imperative. Although this position is primarily base out of Northgate, you will be required to support other Adult Community Services sites. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024.
