Reporting to the Protective Services Director of Business Standards & Operational Support, the Administrative Support IV plays a key role in the day-to-day activities of the Protective Services program. The position is responsible for calendar management, preparing materials, meeting preparations and support, financial activities such as invoicing, expense claims and payroll duties, and file management. The work environment is one of short timelines and frequently changing priorities which demand flexibility and strong organizational skills to meet the workload demands. Attention to detail is important in this position and the successful incumbent must display a high degree of accuracy. The incumbent is expected to promote and foster positive team interactions to support the management team.

Required Qualifications: Some post-secondary education. Additional Required Qualifications: A minimum of completion of a two-year Diploma in Administration is preferred in the healthcare stream. Extensive experience in an administrative field may be considered. Experience in a law enforcement, security or public safety environment is an asset. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio). Ability to work within tight timelines and changing landscape required. Minimum of five years of customer service experience (both in-person and by phone/email). The ability to demonstrate problem solving, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Ability to demonstrate active listening and interpretative skills. Minimum of two years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working independently with minimal direction and within a team environment. Ability to demonstrate organization and prioritization skills. Preferred Qualifications: Proficient knowledge of Peace Officer Program and or Healthcare Security Experience working in law enforcement environment an asset. Considerable working knowledge of office software databases (Outlook, Excel, Word) in order to respond to action requests, and to prepare and edit correspondence, and respond to stakeholder inquiries. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
