This is a One-year Term Primary Care Alberta (PCA) Administrative Support IV position within the Dept of Family Medicine (DFM) Postgraduate Program and is based in Calgary at the Sheldon M. Chumir Health Centre (SMCHC). The Program Administrator-Academics Coordinator is a key administrative position within the DFM Residency Program. This position is responsible for scheduling all weekly academic sessions for 1st and 2nd year Residents in our Calgary Program. Academics are half-day didactic sessions and may include lectures, procedural skills sessions, multiple sessions in a single half day, full day or over a few days and located in a single site or different sessions for our 3 Calgary divisions. This position is guided by multiple intricate guidelines and the incumbent must balance significant competing demands, frequently shifting priorities and meet extremely important deadlines. The incumbent must exercise excellent judgment and superior resourcefulness in the performance of daily activities and in the escalation of issues appropriately.
