Your Opportunity:As an Administrative Support IV, you will be responsible for the efficient flow of communication between health professionals, departments, patients and families while maintaining confidentiality of patient information. You will also be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks which may include reception, greeting and directing visitors, patients and health professionals, maintaining patient records and charts, scheduling. You will also be responsible for performing a range of administrative activities in support of the unit. This position requires knowledge of the organization, all collective agreements and operations of specific areas assigned. This position requires individuals to be able to communicate clearly and regularly communicate with managers and other applicable team members. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Required Qualifications:Some post-secondary education. Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service environment. Minimum 1 year scheduling experience. Demonstrated telephone skills are required. Experience dealing face to face with clients is required. Experience with Connect Care, Microsoft Office and email required. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal is required; active listening and interpretative skills are required. Must have demonstrated experience resolving complex client issues. Requires a high degree of customer service, problem solving, interpersonal skills and critical thinking. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in working in a unionized health care environment is preferred. Human Resource experience is an asset.
