Your Opportunity:This is a regular full-time position, reporting to the Manager of the Corrections Transition Team. The position is responsible for providing administrative support for the ongoing operations of the Corrections Transition Team at East Calgary Health Centre. Duties include chart management, receiving and responding to telephone, fax and email; data entry, compiling statistical information, organizing mail, typing correspondence, filing, photocopying, supply management, and time-keeping in e-People. This individual communicates information appropriately, answers and responds to telephone inquiries, and anticipates and is responsive to the needs and demands of the program. This individual must have excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to adapt to a changing work environment. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Required Qualifications:Some post-secondary education. Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of a secretarial/business course. Minimum of three years of administrative support experience. Experience with the mental health and addictions population, health care and corrections clients. Demonstrated consistent attention to detail and proven reliability. Demonstrated excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication and relationship skills. High initiative, professionalism and discretion, especially when dealing with confidential/sensitive information. Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, make independent decisions and respond to the changing needs in a team environment with minimal supervision. They have demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of Connect Care, Redcap and e-People timekeeping. Excellent typing skills. Ability to work in a busy environment with frequent interruptions. They have demonstrated the ability to complete projects within tight timelines.
