This Administrative III position will support the Overdose Prevention Site (OPS) which provides harm reduction and supervised consumption services in Red Deer. These services are part of an evidence-based, recovery oriented system of care that provides prevention, harm reduction and treatment for individuals living with substance use challenges. This position will also be supporting the broader Red Deer Adult Community Addiction and Mental Health programs as required. Duties include scheduling clients, meetings, computer processing of all types of documents, dictation, data entry, incoming and outgoing mail management, time-keeping, health records management, receiving visitors and reception functions and attending to high-risk clients, as well as performing other related duties as outlined below. The position will work collaboratively with all internal programs as well as will maintain positive, professional, cooperative relationships with external community partners and clients. Is accountable for maintaining confidentiality of information.

Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications: Minimum one year experience working in an addiction and mental health setting. 2 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years of clerical experience in an organization of the significant size and complexity with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Diploma from a recognized Office/Business Administration Program. Experience with medical transcription/dictation. Keyboarding of 70 words per minute desired. Strong communication skills, tact, good judgment to deal effectively with the public and individuals accessing services at the site (s). Ability to handle confidential material and work in a busy office environment. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Ability to take minutes. Excellent English grammar skills, strong interest in and knowledge of the medical language and terminology. Preferred Qualifications: As Required.
