Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in data entry. Intermediate knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite software. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on client services and public relations. Ability to perform repetitive duties efficiently and accurately. Flexibility to meet operational requirements in terms of work duties and assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Medical Office Assistant or Unit Clerk certificate and asset. Working knowledge of Connect Care and MCIS. Medical terminology. Excellent organization, problem solving, trouble shooting and decision-making skills. Strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism. Leadership, process improvement or change management courses.
