Your Opportunity:
As an Administrative Support III supporting Allied Health, Pediatric Community Rehabilitation (PCR), you will work as part of a team to support front reception and perform clerical duties for the Northgate site and PCR program. As the first point of contact for clients, the successful candidate will demonstrate a friendly and flexible approach with strong customer service skills. Key clerical responsibilities may include front desk reception, completing patient registrations, processing referrals and scheduling appointments as well as validating and inputting data. Additional responsibilities may include generating reports and correspondence, minute taking, timekeeping, ordering supplies, and assisting with a variety of general activities to support site and/or program operations. As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program, and ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment. Selection process will involve a computer skills test.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Connect Care training (Referrals, Scheduling, and Registration) and experience with Ambulatory Clinic Patient Access Workflows. Minimum three years' administrative experience in a health services setting. Advanced proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite. Hands on experience with office equipment. Proven organizational, time management and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and cooperate with others in a team environment. Able to be self-directed and resourceful in managing unexpected issues. Able to lift up to 20lbs and manage extended sedentary periods; work for this position is primarily phone/computer based. Post secondary certificate in medical/business/office administration or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience providing exceptional customer service experience. Experience with Edmonton Zone Allied Health Community Programming.
