High School Diploma
Administrative Assistant Certificate an asset
Business and Clerical experience an asset, preferably in a health care setting / environment
Advanced working knowledge technology and utilization of various office equipment (i.e. fax, photocopier, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS:
o Receives, records, distributes incoming mail; arranges for mailing or distribution of outgoing correspondence
Records, classifies and files materials in accordance with established filing system and data bases
Monitors and requisitions office and medical supplies to maintain standard inventories
Scheduling site staff, scheduling meetings; records, transcribes and distributes minutes and agendas
Schedules and provides initial and ongoing training to staff on the use of The Bethany Group email account and
website, including follow-up reminders Assists manager with yearly vacation planning for staff
Assists with coordination of yearly influenza vaccination clinics (staff and residents)
Assists with coordination of projects assigned to the manager and professional staff to ensure deadlines are met.
Supports accounting process to accounts payable clerk.
