Your Opportunity:Under the general supervision of a Supervisor, you will be responsible to follow established procedures to maintain patient information related to provision of meal service; prepares financial reports; processes food preferences, food allergies, intolerances and meal tallies; processes menus and/or tray tickets; effectively communicates with other departments on matters related to patient meals, snacks, nourishment supplies; completes other duties as required, which may include tasks in the production area if required. This position may require you to be able to bend, lift, push, and pull items of up to 20lbs, and does require you to be on your feet for up to 3 hours at a time. Required Qualifications:Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:Knowledge and operation of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare food service environment. Minimum 1 year customer service experience. Minimum standard for typing is 35 words per minute. Preferred Qualifications:Post-secondary administrative assistant/clerical education or education in a related field. Experience with basic mathematical skills to support accurate invoice and credit reconciliation, inventory maintenance.
