McCain Produce Inc, is a leading distributer of crop inputs, including blended fertilizer, crop protection products and other related inputs, with multiple locations in Atlantic Canada and the State of Maine.
We are currently seeking a Summer Student Administrative Support resource at our Florenceville-Bristol office location for the period of April to August. The incumbent will work closely with the Office Administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key punching
- Filing
- Data Entry
- Helping with year end preparation
- Maintaining and balancing daily reports
- Managing postal send outs and financial deposits
- Other clerical duties as assigned
- Good customer service and organizational skills
- Must have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Detailed oriented and dependable
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Strong communication skills and work well in a small team environment
- Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency
- Previous office experience considered an asset
- Ability to work flexible extended hours
- Work experience or background in agriculture also considered an asset
- This position would be suitable for a student with pertinent skills to the job
- Previous office experience and an agricultural background would be an asset
