Provide clear and accurate information about currency exchange rates, services, and fees.
Answer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person promptly and efficiently.
Transaction Management:
Process foreign currency exchanges accurately using company systems.
Verify and authenticate currency to prevent fraudulent transactions.
Handle cash, checks, and electronic payments securely and responsibly.
Compliance & Accuracy:
Adhere to all anti-money laundering (AML) and compliance regulations.
Maintain meticulous records of transactions and customer information as required.
Ensure proper identification and documentation for high-value transactions.
Problem-Solving:
Address customer complaints or discrepancies with a solution-oriented approach.
Escalate unresolved issues to the Branch Manager as needed.
Operational Support:
Reconcile daily cash balances and ensure accuracy.
Assist in replenishing currency stock and reporting shortages.
Contribute to the upkeep and organization of the branch environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; college education is an asset.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Experience in retail, banking, or currency exchange is preferred but not required.
Proficient in using computers and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in handling transactions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Basic math skills and the ability to calculate exchange rates quickly.
Understanding of foreign currencies and exchange processes (training provided).
