Overview


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a term position with the opportunity to be permanent for the right candidate. This role provides essential support to our office operations, ensuring smooth daily functions and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in logistics coordination is an asset. Responsibilities



Communicate with sales team, production manager, and warehouse staff on customer orders, production timelines, and inventory levels Process customer orders for production and shipping Work with sales team, logistics manager, and truck drivers to coordinate deliveries to customers Work extended hours as needed during Spring season ie. Early mornings, late afternoons, Saturday mornings. Provide customer service, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone system with professional phone etiquette Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office suite, including our internal Microsoft-based system. Handle filing and general clerical tasks to support daily office functions Assist with customer service inquiries, providing support and information to clients

Skills



Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong computer skills with experience in data entry and document management Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Previous clerical or administrative experience, especially with logistics experience is advantageous Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette Ability to handle filing systems efficiently and support front desk operations seamlessly Familiarity with agriculture is a plus but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
