You could be the missing piece to our team.Our team and what we\'ll accomplish togetherAs an Administrative Coordinator, your core mission is to provide leadership and oversight to on-site customer service to patients and clinicians. The role will act as an onsite leader among Medical Office Assistants and report to the clinic team leader.What you\'ll do

  • Responsible for Medical Office Assistant (MOA) Training and Skill Set Maintenance
  • Train new staff on clinic duties
  • Lead MOA during shifts and act as a liaison for current and new physicians
  • Perform MOA duties and act as a senior MOA to provide guidance and advise other MOAs
  • Manage the receipt and distribution of faxes, emails and postal mail
  • Manage and update Physician schedules
  • Perform billing for uninsured services
  • Assign tasks for clinic associates
  • Provide administrative support to Team Leaders where required
  • Troubleshoot issues and escalations from patients and physicians where possible before escalating to team leader
QualificationsWhat you bring
  • Excellent organizational skills, prioritization and attention to detail to maintain accurate records
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills and professionalism
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology so they can respond appropriately to requests from health care professionals and patients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in French and strong interpersonal (phone/in-person/physicians)
  • Ability to work independently but also have collaborative spirit
  • Attendance and punctuality
  • Able to adapt and embrace change
  • Ability to multitask
  • Tech savvy (i.e. EMR, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or Google Workspace)
  • Stress management
  • Versatile and flexible
  • High School diploma
Great-to-haves
  • College or University degree is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Medical Office Assistant Certification is an asset
  • 2-3 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in the medical field
